Donation of Backpacks, School Supplies, and Volunteer Hours to Local School

Kaiserman Company’s annual Project Backpack yields 30 backpacks full of school supplies for the F. Amedee Bregy Public Elementary School. Each year, Kaiserman Company community offices put out the call for pencils, notebooks, calculators, and other supplies to fill new backpacks for those students who need them.

“We are proud to donate these backpacks to Bregy,” said Mark Poston, President of Kaiserman Company. “We want to see our local school children have a chance to succeed. These supplies remove a barrier for them and we’re happy to make a difference in our community.”

“The Kaiserman Company is truly a blessing to The Bregy School,” said Bregy Principal Shakeera Warthen. “Bregy’s theme is “Strong Start, Strong Finish.” Kaiserman has provided our students in need with school supplies and uniforms to begin the school year. They also support our school with their time through volunteering. To date they have completed five beautification projects at Bregy!”

Kaiserman adopted the Bregy Elementary School in 2014. In addition to the annual backpack project there is a cash donation, as well as volunteer hours within the building. Over the past 4 years, Kaiserman staff members have volunteered for cleanup and maintenance days, bringing paint, tile, brooms, brushes, mops, and time to help maintain classrooms, hallways, bathrooms, and the auditorium.

“We hope to make Bregy shine, and be a healthy learning environment through good upkeep, the same as we keep our own buildings,” said Joe Cianfrani Jr., Kaiserman’s Director of Technical Operations.
